400th Post Giveaway - Quilts From the House of Tula Pink

This is my 400th blog post, a fact which amazes me no end.  When I started this blog, I NEVER, E-V-E-R thought that I would really blog - you know, actually write in this forum.  Regularly write.

I really started the blog just to be able to see - and comment on - pictures of my grandchildren (gratuitous photos of grandchildren inserted here), which you know is almost as necessary as breathing, if you're a Grandma.  But once again, I digress...

I have decided to honor the occasion with a giveaway.  I really like doing giveaways.  I love reading the comments I receive.  It's so fun.  I try to answer every one, although sometimes its kind of daunting, and I know that in past giveaways I have missed a few.

So, to celebrate my 400th blog post, I am giving away Tula Pink's book Quilts From the House of Tula Pink and a charm pack of the remaining prints I have of Prince Charming.

I regret that this won't be a complete set of the fabrics in the line, as I have used and/or given away a few of them.  But there is a respectable selection remaining in my stash, and I want you to have something to work with when you get the book.

You can see that I've used this particular fabric a lot.

So, what do you have to do to win this little gift?  You have up to four chances to win:

1. Just leave a comment here and tell me about a project that's on your quilting bucket list, and why.  Or tell me about a project you are currently working on.  That's all - you will be entered in the giveaway.
2.  If you are - or become - a follower, you get a second entry.
3.  LIKE my Facebook page, or if you have already done so, just leave a comment on my FB page and then come back here to enter.
4.  Use your favorite social media to tell your friends about my giveaway - blog, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, etc., then come back here and let me know.

This giveaway will be open until midnight Central time on Friday, May 24.  I will post the winner on my blog by Sunday, May 26.  Please be sure you are not a no-reply blogger.  I will immediately choose another winner if I don't have your email address.

Thanks for visiting - and good luck!

  6. I am a new Gramma and I am head over heels in love with my 5 month old grand daughter!! It is such an amazing experience, you are sooooo right. My project is that I want to make a quilt for her to keep at my house for when she comes to visit. I made one for her at her own home, but am excited to make one for my home.

And I'd love to win and thank you for the opportunity ;-) The fabric with the frog is cute and lovely. My DD, the mother of my DGD has always had a think for frogs, so I would most likely make something for her or my DGD with the fabric, which would bring me pleasure too.

    Congratulations on your successful blog!

  30. On my quilting bucket list is a hand quilted bed quilt. I have never done any hand quilting. That's kind of generic, so I'll also say that I'm working on two projects right now: a pixelated heart baby quilt and a thrifted cashmere patchwork quilt (special request from my mom). I've been working on both forever -- I can't seem to finish either one. I have not been a Tula Pink connoisseur, but I really do love the Prince Charming line (and the new one), and my LQS has plenty of it, so I know I'll be able to find the missing pieces. If I win, that is . . . . :-)

  62. Wendi, I just found out on Sunday that I am going to be a GRANDMA!!!! I know you know what that feels like. :) My son and daughter in love have been married 5 years and both did not want children (which I had grudgingly reconciled myself to.) SO... I am anxiously awaiting to hear the sex of the baby and then I will not stop making things for the baby. A quilt, bibs, etc. etc!

  67. On my quilting bucket list is a x plus quilt. There is just something about those quilts that I love, I need one in my life. I was planning on starting my daughter's Out to Sea quilt, but today I found out my husband will be deploying on his fourth tour. I spent the morning crying wondering how I'm going to manage this one. It seems like it will be the hardest since we have our little girl now. So I decided it's time to start planning his quilt. So I'm in the search of the perfect manly pattern and fabric.
Congrats on your 400th post! Can't wait to see more! And thanks for the great giveaway!

  90. Wow, 400th give-away? That's awesome!

My current project is organizing my stash, WIPS, and UFO's. I'm also going through all my notebooks filled with 'someday' projects and have discovered my 'someday' list has changed a lot over time. So it's been out with the old and in with the new but I still haven't managed to reduce my notebooks below 21! I have discovered I'm far more drawn to modern quilts these days and it's been fun to see the progression of my taste as time has moved on.

    Love your blog!

    Peg

  95. Just found your blog and became a follower! I have currently got about 16 projects I'm working on....sigh. The one I'm most anxious to finish is called Oklahoma Beauty and is paper pieced. It has 30 blocks and I'm finished with only about 12. I'm also doing the Bee in My Bonnet Row Along (just need the borders), the Great Granny Along (just need the borders), the Summer Celebration (just need the borders), the Scrappy Trips Around the World (no borders but needs quilting), hummm...I'm starting to see a trend. I'm also working on blocks for Green Tea and Sweet Beans (it's hard) and the Civil War Bride quilt (it's hard too). I also finished a Farmer's Wife but, yes, it needs borders. This is making me feel kinda not too sane...

Thanks for the giveaway! I like your blog!
